Employers FAQ
How does HealCo reduce renewal volatility?

By governing where specialty care begins — before costs are created. Decision Desk routes members to governed pathways. Claims volatility drops when entry is controlled.

Do I have to change my carrier?

No. HealCo's governance layer sits above your existing carrier, TPA, and PPO infrastructure — it does not replace any of it.

Can employees keep their doctors?

Yes. HealCo governs how care enters the plan — it does not restrict which providers employees can see. Your PPO network remains available as fallback.

Providers FAQ
Do I need to leave Medicare?

No—you can keep FFS/Medicare and add direct contracts.

How do I get matched with employers?

HealCo introduces you to self-funded groups seeking direct care by episode or membership.

Can I choose my practice model?

Yes—concierge, employer-aligned, or hybrid.

Solutions FAQ
What data do you need for a proposal?

Census + recent claims + plan design to scope a savings model in 7–10 days.

Can TPAs or captives white-label HealCoHP?

Yes—the framework is API-ready and HIPAA-compliant.

How do brokers fit in?

HealCo introduces brokers where state regs require; they co-manage plan execution.

Does HealCo replace the TPA or PPO?

HealCoHP is not a network-first product. Traditional PPOs rely on broad networks and post-claim cost control. HealCoHP is built around direct care, bundled pricing, and intelligent navigation that guides members to the right care before claims occur. PPO access may exist as a fallback, but it’s not the primary decision engine.

What does the TPA need to build?

No. HealCoHP is not an insurance carrier. It is a care and navigation layer that works alongside an employer’s underlying plan structure (self-funded, level-funded, or association-sponsored). HealCoHP focuses on how care is accessed, priced, and routed — not on underwriting risk.

How does HealCo work with an existing broker?

HealCo’s AI navigation guides members at key decision points — symptoms, referrals, procedures, and follow-up care — using plan context, pricing logic, and provider availability. The goal is to steer members toward high-quality, cost-effective care paths before unnecessary utilization or surprise costs occur. Human support remains available where appropriate.

Does implementation require a plan change?

Yes. HealCoHP is designed to support small and mid-sized employers, including those that traditionally lack leverage in healthcare purchasing. Depending on structure, small employers may participate through association-sponsored plans, pooled models, or level-funded arrangements, while still accessing the same navigation and care infrastructure.

How does governed routing work?

The COHP model shifts healthcare from a carrier-owned system to a community-aligned care model. Instead of value being captured primarily by intermediaries, care decisions, pricing, and incentives are aligned around employers, providers, and members. HealCoHP operationalizes this by combining direct care, bundled services, and transparent navigation into a cohesive system.
